平安の使者 Peace Messengers
プロボノ（Pro Bono, Pro Publico Bono）
プロボノという新しいボランティア手法が注目されている。「知識労働者が自分の職能と時間を提供して社会貢献を行うこと」を意味する。元々は弁護士など の限られた業界で一般的だった活動だ。ところが米国のある団体が「知識労働者とNPOとを結び付けてNPO支援を行う」仕組みを考案したことから、マーケ ティングやシステム開発など、幅広い分野の知識労働者がプロボノ活動に取り組めるようになった。プロボノはを略した英単語。ラテン語を語源とする形容詞だ。直訳では「公益のために」（for the public good）程度の意味になる。一方、実際の意味は「公益のために無償で仕事を行う」ことを指す。公益の無償奉仕といえば、ボランティアが思い出される。このボランティアとプロボノとの違いは、従事者の職能を生かすかどうかにある。まず狭義の ボランティアは、従事者の能力を問わず「時間」（単純労力）のみを提供する。一方プロボノは、その人が自分の職業を通じて身につけた「職能」を提供する。 例えばプログラマーならシステム開発能力を、建築家なら建物の設計能力を提供するわけだ。

We are a group of experts conducting a survey of selected religious movements across the world and checking how they implement their statutes. There are eight main experts who are responsible for the main body of the project. Each of them is responsible for one religious field. They work completely free of charge using their best skills and capabilities. They decided to dedicate themselves to this pro bono work some time ago, when they realized that many religious movements are simply deceiving people for selfish reasons, promising them something that they can’t provide them with. In the West many of them are of the Indian origin.
The information in the site is the result of the 8-year research. The people who are engaged in the project are appealing to the people of the world and sending them this message: Humanity and civilization are in a great danger. This time it is not a danger of proliferation any more, but a danger of a real atomic war. We are informing you about this for the sake of the world peace and happiness. Let’s join our efforts in pro bono service to save the world from destruction.

Pro bono publico (usually shortened to pro bono) is a phrase derived from Latin meaning “for the public good”. The term is generally used to describe professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment as a public service. It is common in the legal profession and is increasingly seen in marketing, technology, and strategy consulting firms. Pro bono service, unlike traditional volunteerism, uses the specific skills of professionals to provide services to those who are unable to afford them.
